History
The Hong Kong Sports Association for People with Intellectual Disabilities was established in 1978 by a group of professionals who are enthusiastic about serving people with intellectual disabilities. It aims to organize recreational and sports activities for people with intellectual disabilities, and actively develops, promotes and organizes sports activities for people with intellectual disabilities, so as to enable them to fully realize their potential. Cultivate high sportsmanship and actively integrate into the community
This association is the only sports association in Hong Kong that focuses on organizing regular and systematic sports training and competitions for people with intellectual disabilities. It has nearly 100 institutional members and thousands of registered athletes and participants. The total number of people participating in activities every year exceeds 50,000. Visitors.
